I took this portrait of Dad sitting against the iconic Lowenbrau Porsche 962 at Gunnar Racing in West Palm beach.

It was in many ways a reunion of these two iconic racers, who together won so many races during the heyday of sports car racing here in the USA. There was a beautiful calm about the moment when Dad sat down against the race car. Together they had been so dominant, so fast, so brutal in execution of the goal; yet here they were together in silence.

For me too it was a beautiful moment, as we raced and won the Historic 24 Hours at Daytona just two years ago in this very car. An experience that sort of brought an end to dads historic racing career, as how do you top that?
